In life we are caught up in what we see and the things we can touch. This obsession with the material world often causes us to over look two of our most valuable possessions faith and hope. From a very early age we are attracted to material things. As babies we cry for bottles or for our diapers to be changed. Our desires to feed and comfort our bodies never change. We find other needs and strengths as we grow older. We become aware of the mind and the power it has over the body. When we look behind our physical desires we find our real strengths. What drives us when we don’t have what we want or even what we need? I asked myself this question recently. What is it that gives us strength when we loose every thing we have. When all the things we have are gone or when we are challenged by our health or the loss of a love one. What was it that has kept me going all these years. There are two things in my life that have sustained me hope and faith. These two things are two invaluable possessions protect them at all cost.
